About Us

The Association of Tanzania Registered Nurse Anesthetists (ATRNA) is a professional organization officially recognized and registered with the Registrar of Societies under the Ministry of Home Affairs, bearing registration number S.A.23930. Established to support and advance the field of nurse anaesthesia in Tanzania, ATRNA is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of care, providing professional development opportunities, and advocating for the interests of its members within the healthcare system. Through collaboration and continuous improvement, ATRNA strives to enhance the quality of anaesthetic services across the country.

Full membership is open to any Graduate Nurse Anaesthetist who is registered and licensed in Tanzania by the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC)
